- Support nurses and vets: hold for procedures, run samples, help with inpatient care, walking, feeding and cleaning
- Keep the clinic spotless and biosecure
- Learn constantly and grow towards a nursing pathway if desired

- A genuine love of animals, and the calm to handle them well
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to do the unglamorous jobs properly
- Reliability, care and attention to detail
- A team first attitude
- Prior clinic, kennel, grooming or animal care experience is a plus, not a must

The Role
- You keep the clinical floor running and the animals comfortable. You are the extra pair of steady hands the nurses and vets rely on, and often the gentlest presence in the room for a nervous pet.
What you will do
- Handle, restrain and comfort animals safely and kindly during consults and procedures.
- Prep and turn around consult and theatre rooms, and keep kit clean, stocked and ready.
- Support nurses and vets: hold for procedures, run samples, help with inpatient care, walking, feeding and cleaning.

- Learn constantly. Grow towards a nursing pathway if that is where you want to go.

- Reliability, care and attention to detail.
- A team first attitude. You make everyone around you better.
- Prior clinic, kennel, grooming or animal care experience is a plus, not a must. Attitude matters more.
