Responsibilities
- Own the soft tissue caseload end to end: work up, imaging interpretation, surgical planning, theatre and recovery
- Operate with the time, equipment and support needed to deliver the highest standard of care
- Mentor general practitioners and veterinary nurses to build surgical confidence and capability
- Guide pet parents through complex cases with clarity, honesty and compassion
- Help shape surgical protocols, equipment selection and clinical standards as the clinic grows
Requirements
- A recognised veterinary degree, and eligibility to practise as a veterinarian in the UAE (minimum 5 years' experience)
- Advanced surgical training: board certification (Diplomate ECVS or ACVS), CertAVP (GSAS), PgC(SAS), residency training, or a demonstrable specialist level soft tissue caseload
- Strong diagnostic imaging skills including abdominal ultrasonography, point of care ultrasound and radiographic interpretation
- Real surgical range and sound judgement about when to operate and when not to
- The ability to teach and lift the team around you
- Warmth and ability to treat the pet parent as well as the pet

The Role
- You lead our soft tissue surgery service, managing a diverse caseload from routine procedures to complex abdominal, thoracic, reconstructive, wound and oncological surgery.
- You set the clinical standard, mentor the next generation of surgeons, and help shape a surgical service built on excellence.
What you will do

What you bring
