VACUUM PROCESS & DEAERATION ENGINEER – MIXING & LIQUID SYSTEMS

Vacuum Process Parameters

• The role involves absolute pressure, vacuum level, evacuation time, gas load, pump capacity, product temperature, boiling point under vacuum, vapour load, condensation, viscosity, batch size, foaming tendency, entrained air, dissolved gases, and process stability.

Process Technologies

• Relevant technologies include vacuum mixing, vacuum homogenisation, deaeration, degassing, vacuum transfer, vacuum-assisted powder induction, batch processing, liquid processing, emulsification, and dispersion.

Equipment Areas

• Relevant equipment includes vacuum mixing vessels, homogenisers, process tanks, vacuum pumps, condensers, receivers, separators, vacuum piping, control valves, instrumentation, and integrated process skids.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant industrial engineering experience is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of vacuum systems or vacuum-assisted industrial processing.
• Understanding of pumps, vessels, piping, and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of pressure and vacuum measurement.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred Technical Exposure

• Preferred exposure includes vacuum pumps, vacuum vessels, deaeration systems, vacuum homogenisers, process skids, mixing systems, liquid processing, condensers, process instrumentation, batch processing, pilot plants, and commissioning.
• Preferred industry experience includes food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics, flavours and ingredients, specialty chemicals, process-equipment manufacturing, industrial engineering, and application engineering.
