Role Overview
Somion Digital is seeking a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer.
The role creates intuitive, aesthetically compelling, and functional digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
The designer owns the end-to-end process from user needs and business objectives through flows, prototypes, and final interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, user interviews, and usability testing.
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, information architecture, site maps, and task flows.
- Develop low- to high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI designs for responsive web applications and iOS and Android apps.
- Establish, maintain, and scale design systems, component libraries, style guides, and interaction patterns.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and front-end developers on feasibility, asset handoff, and implementation quality.
- Iterate on design solutions using user feedback, quantitative analytics, and operational usability testing.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Interactive Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience on web, mobile, or enterprise SaaS applications.
- Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Framer.
- A strong, verifiable portfolio showing user-centered methods, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and finished UI assets.
- Understanding of responsive design, WCAG, Material Design, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and basic HTML/CSS/JS constraints.
- Strong visual aesthetics, attention to detail, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Compensation
- The stated salary is SAR 24,000 per month.
