Overview Of The Role

  • The Shopping Experience Team Leader drives sales growth and ensures long term profitability by fostering strong relationships with customers.
  • Enhances customer satisfaction by implementing standard IKEA shopping methods and supporting the self serve concept.
  • Requires motivating and leading the team with deep knowledge of IKEA's product range and services.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure customer guidance for easy customer flow.
  • Maintain waiting time and queuing policy per benchmark.
  • Support co workers in resolving customer complaints.
  • Ensure co workers provide excellent customer service and acknowledge customers.
  • Motivate and inspire the department team using IKEA product range and services knowledge.
  • Coach co workers, support training paths, probation periods, and key responsibilities.
  • Ensure co workers are aware of targets in sales, services, and employee business plans.
  • Ensure co workers are trained and can provide accurate information to customers.
  • Fulfill daily tasks and monthly KPIs required by group leader.
  • Find more effective ways to reduce costs.
  • Ensure all department SOPs are shared with co workers.
  • Receive, count, and sign off cash float; prepare reconciliation document; collaborate with Finance.

What Qualifies You For The Role

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 4 years of experience in Retail, preferably in a team leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem solving abilities and proactive approach.
  • Good command of English; Arabic preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to coach and develop team members.
