Treasury Sales Dealer

Job Summary

Treasury Sales and Structuring

• Sell treasury products to existing and new customers to generate fee revenue.
• Structure and develop new treasury products in response to client needs.
• Conduct joint sales calls with Relationship Managers, meet sales targets, and solicit corporate, retail, and private banking business.
• Train Relationship Managers and branch managers on treasury products.
• Provide market updates and product presentations to support client trading decisions.

Treasury Sales Management

• Support deal flow between Trading and clients, including pricing and execution of treasury deals.
• Respond to treasury-related customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Treasury Support and Middle Office and manage documentation and approvals.
• Follow the business control framework and escalation requirements.

Collaboration and Improvement

• Work with Wholesale, International, Private, and Retail Banking Relationship Managers to understand client treasury needs.
• Conduct market research and take up client referrals.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, controls, cost efficiency, and productivity.
• Recommend improvements to procedures and support implementation of instructions and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least four years of relevant experience in treasury or treasury sales and structuring.
• Knowledge of Qatar and regional banking sectors, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Knowledge of trading and treasury products, asset-liability management, and market risk.
• Business networking, negotiation, and English and Arabic communication skills.

Reporting and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality, health, safety, environmental, risk, audit, and regulatory procedures.
• Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
