Role Description
Support daily transportation and delivery coordination activities.
Help ensure goods are transported safely and efficiently through scheduling, shipment arrangements, tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation schedules and arrange pickups and deliveries.
- Prepare transportation documents and confirm shipment quantities, destinations, delivery times, and special requirements.
- Monitor vehicle and shipment status, follow up on delays, and provide timely updates.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, sales, customer service, suppliers, drivers, and transportation providers.
- Update transport information in internal systems and prepare delivery reports.
- Check proof of delivery, track transportation costs, and assist with delivery discrepancies or failed deliveries.
- Maintain accurate transportation records, schedules, and documentation.
- Identify recurring transportation issues and support improvements to delivery processes and scheduling efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of transportation, delivery, logistics, fleet coordination, and supply chain processes.
