Role Overview
The Logistics Assistant supports daily logistics and distribution activities.
The role coordinates shipments, monitors deliveries, maintains records, and supports timely movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, shipment arrangements, delivery schedules, and transportation requirements.
- Prepare shipping documents, delivery records, logistics reports, and regular operational updates.
- Monitor shipment status, follow up on delays, and coordinate with warehouse teams, suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments.
- Support inbound and outbound shipments, stock movements, quantity verification, and document accuracy.
- Track logistics costs and operational data, update logistics and inventory systems, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Support improvements to logistics workflows and perform general administrative coordination tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, coordination, communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Comfort working with logistics data, shipment records, delivery documents, and business systems.
