Main Duties
- Find and fix problems in manual and hydraulic transmissions on mobile equipment.
- Run tests using service manuals, computer tools, and gauges.
- Overhaul manual and hydraulic transmissions on mobile equipment.
- Replace broken or worn parts with new ones using correct assembly.
- Read service manuals and blueprint diagrams to guide repairs.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma plus a technical certificate or trade school training in diesel or heavy equipment repair.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment, concrete machinery, or construction machinery.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
