Position Overview
The position is Aluminum Foreman in the Aluminum and Glass / Fabrication and Installation department.
The role reports to the Project Manager, Site Engineer, or Production Manager.
The role supervises aluminum and glass fabrication and installation to meet drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise fabrication and installation at the factory and site.
- Assign daily tasks to workers and monitor performance.
- Read shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation details.
- Verify site measurements before work starts.
- Oversee cutting, assembly, and installation of aluminum systems.
- Install doors, windows, curtain walls, partitions, and related works.
- Coordinate glass installation and accessories such as hinges, locks, and seals.
- Check alignment, finishing, and quality of completed work.
- Manage materials and report shortages or issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades.
- Track manpower attendance and productivity and ensure work follows schedule.
- Maintain site cleanliness, enforce PPE and safety rules, fix defects before handover, and report conflicts or delays.
Requirements
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in aluminum fabrication and installation; foreman experience is preferred.
- Have strong knowledge of aluminum systems and installation methods.
- Be able to read shop drawings and measurements.
- Be familiar with tools, machines, and accessories.
- Have good leadership and site coordination skills.
- Have knowledge of quality and safety standards.
- GCC or UAE experience is an advantage.
