We are looking for a Storekeeper to manage inventory and materials for the Aluminum, Marble, and Joinery Division.
The ideal candidate will handle material receipts, updates, and stock checks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in inventory and material management is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Ability to handle material receipts, updates, and stock checks.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming materials and verify them against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Record and update all material receipts in the inventory/store management system.
- Prepare delivery notes for materials dispatched to project sites and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Issue materials to production units based on approved material requisition requests.
- Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, transfers, and stock balances.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and housekeeping of all materials in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with the Procurement, Production, and Project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Report stock shortages, damaged materials, and slow-moving items to the Store/Operations Manager.
- Ensure compliance with ESI's safety procedures and warehouse standards.
- Collect material requirements from the Production Units, prepare the Material Requisition, obtain the necessary approvals, and forward the approved request to the Procurement Department for purchasing.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
