Job Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic Trade Marketing Assistant Manager to support the development and execution of trade marketing plans to drive brand growth, market performance, and customer engagement within approved budgets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the Annual Development Plan (ADP), translating business objectives into monthly initiatives, launch plans, and customer activation calendars.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, and Space Planning teams to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor trade marketing activities, including promotions, trade programs, displays, POSM, and customer specific initiatives.
  • Participate in DRM and SRM forums by providing sales analysis, market insights, and recommendations.
  • Prepare business reviews, performance reports, and presentations, highlighting achievements, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with principals by sharing performance updates, initiative progress, market intelligence, and key business insights.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) launches by ensuring readiness, tracking performance, and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Monitor retail audits, On Shelf Availability (OSA), distribution, and execution metrics to identify opportunities.
  • Analyze sales, customer, competitor, and market data, supported by regular market visits and store checks.
  • Monitor customer expansion plans, market trends, and competitive activities to identify opportunities.
  • Review trade marketing investments and ad hoc initiatives to ensure budget compliance, maximize ROI, and support continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 2 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with retail and distribution channels.
  • Understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
