Responsibilities
- Execute aluminothermic welding (ATW) in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Install molds, perform preheating, and execute thermite welding operations
- Prepare rail joints including cutting, cleaning, alignment, and gap adjustment
- Perform finishing operations including grinding and profile correction
- Conduct visual inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain welding tools, molds, and equipment in proper working condition
- Apply strict adherence to HSE procedures and PPE requirements
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving non conformities (NCR)
- Ensure weld traceability for each joint executed
Requirements
- Degree in welding, metalwork, or a related technical/vocational field
- Experience or understanding of aluminothermic welding (ATW) on railway projects
- Knowledge of grooved rail welding (tramway/LRT systems) and vignole rail welding
- Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and QA/QC requirements
- Strong safety awareness (HSE first mindset)
- High attention to detail and precision
- Strong expertise in rail joint preparation including cutting, cleaning, alignment, and gap adjustment

Your Future Role
- Executing aluminothermic welding (ATW) in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
