Role overview

Education and experience

• University graduate in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least four years of financial-services experience specializing in infrastructure architecture, design, and management.
• Specific courses in IT security and infrastructure architecture.

Required skills

• Strong architectural design experience and knowledge of infrastructure architecture limitations.
• Strong leadership, management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication; Arabic is preferable.
• Self-driven with motivational and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural recommendations aligned with the Group's strategy and vision.
• Gather and document requirements from managers and project owners before proposing solutions.
• Build relationships with departments, units, vendors, and project teams.
• Implement infrastructure architecture through delivery and investment programs using industry-standard methodologies.
• Design and maintain infrastructure architecture for reliable data propagation across systems and subsystems.
• Propose enterprise standards and help project teams implement them in business applications.
• Apply ITIL and conduct architecture reviews with infrastructure, risk management, and audit teams.
• Work with network and infrastructure teams to implement enterprise standards.
• Identify gaps in corporate information and data models and address them with business support teams.
• Monitor emerging technologies and promote relevant solutions to the business.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and system user guides under the documentation policy.
• Ensure governance, IT security, VPN security, business continuity, and disaster recovery compliance.

Work arrangement

• The position is for the employer's Qatar operations.
