Role Overview
Nair Systems is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst – Core Banking for its UAE operations.
The role supports a core banking migration with a focus on Finance and accounting functionality.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Review and validate financial workflows in Finacle against accounting policies, charts of accounts, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and execute functional test cases for General Ledger postings, reconciliation, period-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Verify Finacle accounting entries across loans, deposits, payments, and cards, including debit and credit treatment and GL mapping.
- Participate in UAT as a Finance representative and provide formal sign-off on finance-critical scenarios.
- Review migration design documents, configurations, and product programmes from a Finance and accounting perspective.
- Identify and track functional gaps, accounting discrepancies, and workflow deviations through resolution.
- Validate regulatory reports, management accounts, and statutory statements generated by Finacle.
- Compare legacy-system and Finacle outputs during parallel runs and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and migration teams to capture and address requirements.
- Prepare test plans, test scripts, sign-off documentation, and management updates.
- Support Finance team training and knowledge sharing after go-live.
