Job purpose
Support the Finance Division during the bank’s migration to the Finacle Core Banking system.
Bridge the Finance function and migration programme by validating workflows, accounting entries, reporting, testing, and finance requirements before go-live.
Main responsibilities
- Validate financial workflows, accounting policies, chart-of-accounts alignment, and reporting requirements in Finacle.
- Prepare and execute tests for General Ledger, reconciliation, period-end closing, financial reporting, and banking-product scenarios.
- Verify debit and credit treatment and GL mapping for loans, deposits, payments, and cards.
- Participate in UAT, review results, and provide sign-off on finance-critical scenarios.
- Review designs, configurations, and product programmes; identify gaps and discrepancies and follow issues through resolution.
- Validate regulatory, management, and statutory reports and support legacy-to-Finacle parallel-run comparisons.
- Coordinate Finance, Operations, and migration-team requirements and contribute to test and sign-off documentation.
Role requirements
- The role requires finance and accounting validation capability within a Finacle core banking migration.
- The role requires functional testing, UAT participation, and review of finance-critical scenarios.
