Main Purpose of Job
- To safeguard uninterrupted hospital operations and patient safety by expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining all plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
- The role applies advanced pipefitting knowledge, accurate interpretation of technical plans, and skilled use of hand, power, and woodworking tools to measure, cut, and assemble components.
- Rapid diagnostics and problem solving ensure timely resolution of system faults and sustained compliance with facility standards.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
- Knowledge of water supply systems, drainage systems, and pipefitting
- Proficient in reading plans and technical diagrams
- Use of hand and power tools
- Problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Knowledge in using woodworking tools and machinery
Required Education and Experience
- A relevant technical diploma or trade certificate from an internationally accredited institution
- At least 2 years' relevant experience preferably in a healthcare setting
