Requirements
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Certification as a coder
- At least 2 years’ experience in OPD billing, Coding and clinical documentation improvement in a healthcare setting in Abu Dhabi
- A CDI qualification will be an advantage

Main Purpose of Job
- To provide dedicated support, guidance and education to physicians on clinical coding through effective collaboration between different role players and physicians to ensure quality documentation and mitigate financial risk for the company
Key Responsibility Areas
- To evaluate and improve the quality of clinical documentation and coding to ensure financial efficiencies for the company
- To provide ongoing education and assistance to physicians on clinical coding to improve denial rates and optimise revenue
Required Education
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- A CDI qualification will be an advantage
- Certification as a coder
Required Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in OPD billing, Coding and clinical documentation improvement in a healthcare setting in Abu Dhabi
