Requirements
- Recognized CSSD qualification from an accredited institution
- At least 4 years relevant experience in a CSSD department
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a CSSD Technician with the relevant healthcare authority in the UAE
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of sterilization principles and practices
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control protocols

Main Purpose of Job
- To provide effective disinfection, inspection, assembly, sterilisation, storage and distribution of medical and surgical items to operating theatres and wards in line with company quality and patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibility Areas
- To ensure sterilisation and related activities for medical and surgical items are performed as per company standard and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Accurate records are kept and relevant document audits are performed as per policy
- To provide input into CSSD quality improvement initiatives
Required Education
- A recognised CSSD qualification from an accredited institution
