Responsibilities
- Record and monitor daily attendance of all site employees and workers
- Prepare, verify, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly timesheets
- Ensure attendance records accurately reflect overtime, leave, absences, public holidays, and shift allocations
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, and HR to resolve attendance discrepancies
- Maintain updated manpower deployment records for each project
- Prepare Excel based attendance reports, manpower summaries, and payroll support reports
- Verify worker mobilization, transfers, and demobilization records
- Maintain proper filing of attendance sheets and related documentation
- Ensure timely submission of attendance data to HR and Payroll departments
- Monitor leave balances and report prolonged absences
- Assist in preparing reports on manpower utilization and productivity
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll related information
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Timekeeper in the construction industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, data validation, filtering, sorting, and report preparation)
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet payroll deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information

Job Overview

Qualifications

- Experience managing attendance for a large workforce is preferred

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

- Familiarity with payroll and attendance systems is an advantage
