About the Role

Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate best commercial terms
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procurement policies
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, planning teams, and warehouse to ensure timely material delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and identify new vendors
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and supplier performance to achieve cost savings
- Ensure all purchased materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements
- Track purchase orders and expedite deliveries to avoid project delays
- Resolve supplier related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation for audit purposes
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations
- Support tendering and estimation teams by obtaining competitive quotations during bid preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 7 10 years of procurement experience in civil construction or contracting companies
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontract procurement
- Experience working in the GCC/UAE construction industry is preferred
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and contract management
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Xpedion) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines

About the Role

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional procurement certifications are an added advantage.
Experience
- 7 10 years of procurement experience in civil construction or contracting companies.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontract procurement.
- Experience working in the GCC/UAE construction industry is preferred.
