Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Mason or Tile Mason for swimming pool construction and tiling works.
The role requires practical skills in pool tile installation, surface preparation, screeding, plastering, waterproofing protection, grouting, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out swimming pool tiling and masonry works according to approved drawings and site requirements.
- Install wall and floor tiles while maintaining levels, slopes, alignment, joints, and tile patterns.
- Install mosaic, ceramic, porcelain, and other pool finishing materials.
- Prepare surfaces and apply tile adhesive according to manufacturer requirements.
- Perform screeding, plastering, leveling, epoxy grouting, and cementitious grouting.
- Finish areas around drains, steps, corners, lights, inlets, outlets, and fittings.
- Repair or replace damaged tiles and coordinate activities with the Civil Foreman and Site Engineer.
- Follow site safety requirements, maintain housekeeping, and minimize material wastage.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Mason or Tile Mason.
- Experience with swimming pool mosaic tiles and pool finishing works.
- Swimming pool tiling experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in screeding, plastering, and general masonry works.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a site team.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of tile adhesive, grout, epoxy grout, leveling, and joint alignment.
- Attention to detail and finishing quality.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500–4,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
