Position Overview
The employer is seeking a Civil Engineer with hands-on swimming pool construction experience to join the team in Dubai.
The role requires strong site experience and knowledge of swimming pool civil works, waterproofing, tiling, concrete works, and MEP coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise swimming pool construction works and coordinate daily activities with supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Review approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Supervise RCC/gunite, blockwork, screed, waterproofing, tiling, grouting, and pool finishing works.
- Monitor pool levels, dimensions, slopes, construction quality, and installation materials.
- Coordinate MEP piping, fittings, drains, lights, inlets, outlets, and equipment connections.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate consultant approvals in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare MIR, WIR, inspection checklists, method statements, site reports, and progress updates.
- Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and coordinate work to meet project schedules.
- Ensure proper quality, safety, workmanship, and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of civil engineering experience.
- Swimming pool construction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of swimming pool civil works and construction sequence.
- Experience with waterproofing, gunite/RCC, screed, tiling, grouting, and finishing works.
- Ability to read civil, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Experience coordinating with consultants and clients.
- Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and site inspection procedures.
- Good communication and site management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site activities.
- UAE availability is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,500–AED 5,000 per month.
