Role Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced Terminal Duty Manager to oversee activities across the passenger terminal complex.
The role reports to the Senior Manager Terminal Operations and has a reporting line to the HIA Operation Manager.
This is a 24/7 operational role focused on smooth terminal operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise terminal operations and passenger flow.
- Maintain a visible physical presence across the terminal and monitor busy areas during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety and security regulations.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team and promote a customer-centric work culture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues and optimize terminal performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of job-related experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong people-management skills and experience leading a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of terminal operations and critical decision-making under pressure.
- Proven record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to work morning and night shifts.

- The role is based in Doha, Qatar.
- The position requires physical presence throughout the passenger terminal complex.
