Position Overview
The role is responsible for telecom system commissioning on FEED and EPIC projects.
Projects cover onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities from installation and testing through final handover.
The position coordinates with the Lead Commissioning Engineer, Project Manager, client, contractors, and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of telecommunications systems.
- Conduct FAT and SAT activities and troubleshoot telecom systems.
- Commission CCTV, radio, PA/GA, telephony, telemetry, access control, networking, fiber, microwave, and vessel safety systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, procedures, and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution with vendors, subcontractors, construction teams, engineering teams, and clients.
- Monitor progress, maintain commissioning records, and support handover and close-out.
- Plan site activities and coordinate manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Follow HSE, PTW, risk assessment, HAZID, and SIMOPS requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering.
