Sorenson Engineering is seeking a candidate with experience in manufacturing engineering, with CAD CAM development, CNC Programming, and training experience.

Responsible for planning, developing, designing, reviewing, and validating new machine designs and process improvements/optimizations.

Evaluates and continuously improves active production processes and equipment.

Responsible for providing technical knowledge and support for production operations.

Collaborates with organizational leaders and customers.

Level I- Provides engineering support and expertise for production operations across the entire facility.

Using established principles, develops engineered solutions and assists in improving processes.

Becomes familiar with development tools, Sorenson Engineering (SEi) processes, and manufacturing standards .

Level II-In addition to Level I responsibilities, executes engineering projects as a team member with clear direction from senior engineers and senior management.

Analyzes processes and provide metrics supporting process improvements and new designs.

Has a strong understanding of the various SEi processes and manufacturing standards.

• Develops manufacturing processes by analyzing product requirements, researching, testing, implementing, and improving manufacturing methods.
• Provides engineering support to Manufacturing, including day-to-day problem solving of process deficiencies and product defects as well as updating process documentation. Investigates, collaborates, and diagnoses to resolve production problems.
