Quality Technician I/II 2nd Shift

Intermediate level position able to perform a variety of quality inspections using various measuring instruments.

Advanced level position able to inspect product and communicate results.

Trains others.

Interprets drawings and quality documentation.

Performs quality administrative functions.

Knowledge and Abilities: Interprets instructions both written and oral.

Works in a team environment to resolve work issues.

Knowledge of basic shop math.

Communicates effectively in English.

Education and Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or GED with a technical education such as a machining school.

Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not necessary.

Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally exert push force up to 50 pounds, must have good eyesight and hand dexterity, and able to identify and distinguish colors.

Work Environment: Within safety guidelines, there will be exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is listed at the top of this posting.

The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
