Role Overview

  • The technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various home appliances, Air Conditions, and products to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency when visiting customers.
  • Perform service maintenance jobs as per job orders received from Customer service, application, or supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service maintenance jobs to ensure appliances, AC longevity as received from the Customer service, Application.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Repair or replace defective parts or components as needed to restore functionality.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for record keeping purposes.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.
  • In case additional problems are identified during inspection, report to supervisors immediately for further advice.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the field and product.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide training and guidance to assistant technicians or new hires as required.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
  • Test run the unit to ensure satisfactory completion of the service job.
  • Ensure the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction accordingly.

Qualifications

  • 1 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of home appliances and air conditioners.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
