Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on automated systems including conveyors, sorters, pick/pack stations, ASRS, and PLC based systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and electrical components as per operational standards
- Collaborate with warehouse operations to resolve automation related interruptions in workflow
- Maintain logs of maintenance tasks and interventions in compliance with SOPs
- Ensure all automation equipment operates in accordance with HSE and operational safety protocols
- Conduct inspections and report potential safety hazards or malfunctioning components
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment uptime and warehouse efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and system modifications
- Generate technical reports and provide feedback on recurrent issues for process improvements
- Support root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of warehouse automation systems or industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, PLC diagnostics, and mechanical drive systems
- IT literacy for basic diagnostics, system updates, and maintenance tracking
- Experience with WMS integrated automation equipment and HMI interfaces is preferred
