Role Overview
Deliver practical and classroom-based technical training across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and other hard services disciplines.
Improve technician competency, support operational requirements, conduct technical assessments, and reinforce safe and compliant working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured technical training programs for hard services disciplines.
- Conduct hands-on and classroom training in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repair, and safe equipment operation.
- Conduct technical competency assessments and identify areas requiring further training and development.
- Develop and maintain training materials, technical manuals, SOPs, work instructions, presentations, and assessment documentation.
- Deliver training on HSE requirements, regulatory compliance, permit-to-work systems, and industry best practices.
- Align training programs with operational needs through collaboration with facilities, engineering, supervisory, and operations teams.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, competency evaluations, and performance improvement.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, competency results, certifications, and development plans.
- Stay updated on technologies, maintenance practices, energy-efficiency solutions, and facilities management developments.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, building services engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five to eight years of relevant experience in facilities management, MEP, engineering, maintenance, or technical training.
- Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general hard services maintenance.
- Proven experience delivering technical training to technicians, supervisors, and engineering teams.
- Experience conducting technical competency assessments and developing employee upskilling plans.
- Relevant technical training or instructor certification is an advantage.
Location
- The role supports training delivery across UAE operations and exposure to multiple client sites, facilities, technical systems, and operational environments.
