- Plan, organize, and execute SSC events, activities, and engagement initiatives throughout the year.
- Develop event concepts, schedules, implementation plans, and logistical arrangements.
- Coordinate event timelines and ensure timely execution of all event related activities.
- Ensure events are delivered in accordance with approved standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage the end to end event lifecycle, including event conceptualization, logistics coordination, budgeting support, communication coordination, and post event evaluation.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, suppliers, and service providers to support event delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality and cost effectiveness of services provided.
- Support procurement and administrative processes related to event requirements.
- Oversee event setup, operational readiness, and on site coordination during activities.
- Support the development of initiatives that foster staff engagement, collaboration, and workplace well being.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Event Management or related discipline is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in event coordination, staff engagement initiatives, or similar roles is desirable.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events and initiatives simultaneously.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- English mandatory; Arabic and French preferred.

Job Purpose
- The Technical Support Officer SSC Event Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of SSC events and activities, while ensuring the effective management of related technical, operational, and stakeholder engagement requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan, organize, and execute SSC events, activities, and engagement initiatives throughout the year.
- Develop event concepts, schedules, implementation plans, and logistical arrangements.
- Coordinate event timelines and ensure timely execution of all event related activities.
- Ensure events are delivered in accordance with approved standards, budgets, and timelines.

Academic and Professional Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Event Management or related discipline is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in event coordination, staff engagement initiatives, or similar roles is desirable.
- Languages: English: Mandatory | Arabic & French: Preferred.
