Role Overview

The Presales Solution Professional – Data & AI provides specialized technical presales expertise for data-driven and artificial intelligence solutions.

The role identifies customer needs, develops tailored proposals, and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations.

Presales Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand customer Data, Analytics, and AI requirements.
  • Evaluate customer data landscapes and contribute to Azure, Power BI, and related solution proposals.
  • Translate client requirements into conceptual solution outlines.
  • Participate in qualification meetings and provide technical input.

Documentation and Proposals

  • Prepare technical documentation, solution briefs, and RFP responses.
  • Create data flow diagrams, architecture visuals, and use-case scenarios.
  • Ensure documentation meets quality, accuracy, and completeness standards.

Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept

  • Develop and deliver demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for data visualization, reporting, and AI capabilities.
  • Set up sample environments to validate proposed solutions.
  • Gather customer feedback and provide structured summaries.

Collaboration and Improvement

  • Coordinate with delivery, operations, and technology teams to confirm technical feasibility.
  • Support transition from proposal to implementation.
  • Stay current with Data, AI, and Analytics technologies and participate in internal enablement.
  • Suggest improvements to proposal templates, presentation materials, and presales tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in technical presales, data engineering, analytics, or AI-focused consulting.
  • Experience assisting with RFP development, proposal preparation, or solution documentation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Services, including Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, AI Services, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle management, AI model concepts, and analytics workflows.
  • Ability to assist with dashboards, basic AI demonstrations, or workflow automation scenarios.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills.
