Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business owners to clarify and finalize all technical aspects of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Change Requests (CRs)
- Ensure that the technical direction aligns with overall business goals and future scalability needs
- Identify and manage technical risks and challenges that could impact delivery, performance, or long term maintainability
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non technical stakeholders
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering collaboration within cross functional teams
- Support Product Owners in defining, prioritizing, and maintaining the technical backlog
- Balance priorities between technical debt, architecture improvements, and feature development
- Work closely with the Oivan development team and external technology partners to ensure full understanding of technical requirements
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions as required
- Ensure that all technical implementations meet defined acceptance criteria, security standards, and quality expectations
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in resolving technical issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical product ownership, technical project management, or related roles within the software development or IT service industry
- Proven ability to lead Agile software development teams and deliver complex technical solutions
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile practices, with the ability to coach and guide teams
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong command of Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Hands on familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools
- Experience with API based architectures, DevOps practices, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, or similar programming frameworks is an advantage
- Certification such as PMP, PSM I/II, or equivalent Agile credentials is an asset

What We Need
- Oivan is seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) with at least five years of experience in managing local and/or international software and IT projects to lead one of our largest local software development initiatives.
- As an experienced Technical Product Owner with a background in Agile Scrum methodologies, you will lead cross functional teams to deliver high quality technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, bridging communication between client business analysts and technical delivery teams to guarantee that product development meets both business and technical objectives.
- You will be based on site at our customer’s premises in Riyadh, KSA, and the position requires fluency in both Arabic and English. Familiarity with the Golang framework is considered a strong asset.
Product Ownership & Technical Direction
- Collaborate with business owners (THE CLIENT and Oivan) to clarify and finalize all technical aspects of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Change Requests (CRs) before they are assigned to development teams.
- Ensure that the technical direction aligns with the overall business goals and future scalability needs.
- Identify and manage technical risks and challenges that could impact delivery, performance, or long term maintainability.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non technical stakeholders.
Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership

- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Oversee deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth, reliable rollouts with minimal downtime.
- Validate that the technical delivery aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
Resource and Stakeholder Management
- Allocate resources effectively based on team capabilities and project needs.
- Coordinate closely with HR and project stakeholders to ensure availability of required resources.
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
What You Have
- 5+ years of experience in technical product ownership, technical project management, or related roles within the software development or IT service industry.
- Proven ability to lead Agile software development teams and deliver complex technical solutions.
