About the Role

- Own the backlogs of work spread across feature, function, non functional, BAU, technical debt, spikes, and ceremonies
- Define story content, acceptance criteria, and sign off on stories across team backlogs
- Ensure technical debt and non functional requirements are captured, refined, and prioritised
- Prepare contribution to PI demo in conjunction with other Product Owners
- Define metrics to measure success and performance of prioritised work
- Participate in establishing and growing a community of Product Owners
Requirements
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or other
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified
- 2+ years of practical experience as a Product Owner/Manager in a team facing capacity
- Airline offer and order domain experience preferred

Job Purpose
- Emirates Group IT is looking for a Technical Product Owner Offer, Order, and Distribution.
- The role is part of the Technical Product Management team, building effective technology products and services.
In This Role, You Will
- Be responsible for story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story sign off across team backlogs.
- Ensure technical debt and non functional requirements are captured, refined, and prioritised across all sprints.
- Capture additional BAU, ceremony, and spike activities and incorporate them into team backlogs.
- Prepare contribution to PI demo in conjunction with other applicable Product Owners.
- Maintain quality and integrity of features within technical and team boundaries.
- Attend and contribute to key Product Management meetings, in particular PI Planning.
- Define metrics to measure success and performance of prioritised work.
- Participate in establishing and growing a community of Product Owners.
- Contribute to Product Management Communities and their continual evolution.
- Work with team(s) to identify and capture team driven innovation ideas.
Qualification
- Degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or other.
Knowledge/Skills
- Operations Research, Marketing Science, Information Systems, e Commerce, or combination of industry certification and 5+ years relevant experience.
- Global Product (CSPO/SAFe/PSPO) trained and certified.
- 2+ years practical experience as Product Owner/Manager in team facing capacity.
- Some experience of working within a Scaled Agile framework preferred.
- Demonstrated technical or domain expertise within specific domain or technical area.
- Well versed with tools for Product Management aspects of software delivery.
- Strong and concise communicator at peer, line, and stakeholder levels.
- Builds strong relationships with peers and team members.
- Appetite for building and identifying value with customer centric mindset.
- Airline offer and order domain experience preferred.
