Job Summary

  • The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the technical operations, engineering activities, solution design, deployment, and support of wireless communication and two way radio systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical team responsible for wireless and two way radio systems.
  • Provide technical guidance on system design, implementation, integration, and maintenance.
  • Develop and enforce technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging wireless communication technologies and industry trends.
  • Design and review wireless communication solutions including analog/digital two way radio, DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE/MCX.
  • Conduct site surveys, coverage analysis, and network planning.
  • Prepare technical proposals, system architecture, and engineering documentation.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor wireless communication projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex customer issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in wireless communications and two way radio systems.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE, and RF technologies.
  • IP networking and communication systems.
  • Radio frequency propagation and coverage planning.
  • Dispatch and control room solutions.
  • Experience with major vendors such as Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Kenwood, Icom, Sepura, or similar.

Work Environment

  • Office based with regular field visits to customer sites and project locations.
  • May require travel for customer meetings, site surveys, training, and project implementation.
