- Lead and manage the technical team responsible for wireless and two way radio systems
- Provide technical guidance on system design, implementation, integration, and maintenance
- Develop and enforce technical standards, procedures, and best practices
- Design and review wireless communication solutions including DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE/MCX
- Conduct site surveys, coverage analysis, and network planning
- Prepare technical proposals, system architecture, and engineering documentation
- Plan, execute, and monitor wireless communication projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Support pre sales activities including demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical consultations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in wireless communications and two way radio systems
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE, and RF technologies
- Knowledge of IP networking and communication systems
- Experience with major vendors such as Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Kenwood, Icom, Sepura, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Job Summary
- The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the technical operations, engineering activities, solution design, deployment, and support of wireless communication and two way radio systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical team responsible for wireless and two way radio systems.
- Provide technical guidance on system design, implementation, integration, and maintenance.
- Develop and enforce technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging wireless communication technologies and industry trends.
- Design and review wireless communication solutions including analog/digital two way radio, DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE/MCX.
- Conduct site surveys, coverage analysis, and network planning.
- Prepare technical proposals, system architecture, and engineering documentation.
- Plan, execute, and monitor wireless communication projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex customer issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in wireless communications and two way radio systems.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of DMR, TETRA, P25, LTE, and RF technologies.
- IP networking and communication systems.
- Radio frequency propagation and coverage planning.
- Dispatch and control room solutions.
- Experience with major vendors such as Motorola Solutions, Hytera, Kenwood, Icom, Sepura, or similar.
Work Environment
- Office based with regular field visits to customer sites and project locations.
- May require travel for customer meetings, site surveys, training, and project implementation.
