About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Engineering Projects to oversee the technical aspects of interior fit-out, office furniture, and FF&E projects. The role will focus on technical design coordination, shop drawings, furniture production, materials and finishes, MEP integration, qualit
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or Industrial Engineering (Furniture Design) from a recognized university.
- Additional training in Furniture Design, Joinery, or Shop Drawing Details is preferred.
- Project Management or Construction Management certification is advantageous.
- 10–12+ years of relevant experience in Interior Fit-Out and Office Furniture Design & Execution.
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings and Joinery Details.
- Strong experience working on high-end interior projects.
- Experience dealing with furniture manufacturing factories, suppliers, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of furniture production processes.
- Experience selecting and approving materials and finishes, including wood, metal, upholstery, and decorative finishes.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination within interior spaces.
- Proven ability to coordinate between design and execution teams.
- Qatar or GCC project experience is preferred.
