About the Role

CESCO is seeking a Technical Manager – ELV & Fire Alarm Systems in Qatar.

The role leads ELV, Fire Alarm, and Life Safety Systems engineering across complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include engineering leadership, design reviews, technical approvals, system integration, testing and commissioning support, authority compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and design reviews, technical submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical approvals.
  • Coordinate technical matters with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
  • Oversee ELV systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, structured cabling, data centers, ICT, audiovisual, lighting, parking, queue, barrier, and related systems.
  • Lead Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems reviews, cause-and-effect matrices, calculations, layouts, and authority approvals.
  • Support FAT, SAT, demonstrations, handover, commissioning, and technical issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years specializing in ELV and Fire Alarm Systems engineering.
  • Experience with large-scale construction, infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality, airport, governmental, military, mixed-use, and data center projects.
  • GCC experience is preferred.

Technical Expertise

  • Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems.
  • Emergency Voice Communication Systems.
  • CCTV and Access Control Systems.
  • Structured Cabling and Networking.
  • Audio Visual Systems and Data Center Infrastructure.
  • System Integration, Testing and Commissioning, Authority Approvals, and NFPA Standards.

Software Skills

  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Visio, and ERP Systems.
  • Revit is preferred.

Certifications

  • NFPA Certification is preferred.
  • PMP Certification is an advantage.
  • Manufacturer Certifications in Fire Alarm or ELV Systems are preferred.
