Role Overview
Provide technical leadership across major building projects for a construction team.
Oversee technical functions, design coordination, technical issue resolution, and support for project teams throughout construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technical team across projects.
- Review, coordinate, and implement design and engineering requirements.
- Manage technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, project management teams, and stakeholders.
- Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and risks in design and construction documentation.
- Lead coordination among architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Monitor technical approvals and project requirements against agreed timelines.
- Provide input on constructability, value engineering, design changes, and project requirements.
- Support project managers and senior management with complex technical and construction matters.
- Maintain compliance with UAE regulations, codes, standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
- Establish technical procedures and standards across projects.
