Experienced IT Support Engineer position in a site-based construction environment.
The role supports project staff and maintains the operation of site IT systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to site employees and project teams.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and network connectivity issues.
- Support Windows, Office 365, email, and business applications.
- Set up computers, user accounts, and equipment for new employees.
- Maintain site IT asset records and coordinate with Head Office IT and external vendors.
- Support CCTV, access control, attendance, and other site IT systems when required.
- Maintain security, antivirus, backups, access controls, and operational readiness.
- Record and follow up on incidents and service requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of IT support or similar experience.
- Construction, contracting, engineering, or site experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office or Office 365, hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
- UAE experience is required.
