Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing civil and architectural works at site and prepare Inspection Requests for completed works.
• Inspect concrete, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, screeding, tiling, flooring, painting, and other building works.
• Review site materials and coordinate Material Inspection Requests.
• Review drawings, method statements, ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation before work starts.
• Monitor site activities, identify defects and non-conformities, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and site engineers.
• Monitor testing activities and maintain complete inspection, quality, and test records.
• Support the QA/QC Engineer and QA/QC Manager in maintaining project quality standards.

Requirements

• A civil background is mandatory.
• At least five years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in civil or building construction works.
• Strong experience in high-rise, residential, and villa building construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, checklists, and inspection procedures.
• Hands-on experience with IR/WIR, MIR, NCR, RFI, ITP, method statements, and quality documentation.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with a main contractor or construction company is highly preferred.
• Relevant QA/QC certifications are advantageous.
