Role overview
Veolia is seeking a Skid Design Engineer for water treatment systems and ecological transformation projects.
The role covers mechanical skid design, technical reviews, documentation, quality compliance, and engineering leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop skid designs, equipment layouts, 2D drawings, 3D models, bills of quantity, and compliance reports.
- Perform stress analysis, PFD/P&ID reviews, pipe routing design, peer reviews, and model reviews.
- Resolve clashes and verify flexibility in piping layouts before model review.
- Lead engineers, support manufacturing problem solving, and manage customer, schedule, budget, and productivity requirements.
- Represent the analysis team in onsite meetings and customer-facing interactions.
Must-have requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree or mechanical engineering experience.
- 8–12 years of mechanical design experience with Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3/B31.1 and international specifications for structures, piping, and vessels.
- Experience with skid modeling, piping design, peer reviews, quality procedures, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of specified carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel piping materials.
- Ability to lead engineers and assist with manufacturing problem solving.
