Role Overview
Technical Designer responsible for design development, documentation, post-contract services, and quality review of interior design drawings.
Projects include hospitality, commercial, leisure, residential, and public-building environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for quality, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Recommend construction details and methods and communicate design intent for construction.
- Work with the design and CAD teams to resolve technical problems and improve drawing packages.
- Coordinate design execution during construction to ensure projects meet required standards.
- Follow and administer SOPs and checklists and oversee the project quality plan for post-contract services.
Additional Responsibilities
- Oversee working drawings, plans, models, and schemes using CAD software or redline markups.
- Maintain drawing, detail, and documentation quality and identify corrections.
- Survey buildings and attend sites to capture existing conditions and prepare detailed solutions.
- Prepare drawing checklists and update the project quality plan.
- Ensure documentation complies with ISO and local building regulations.
