About the Role

- Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories' needs are being met
- Assist technician’s orders for parts and source and supply as soon as possible
- Recommend related parts and accessories which may be required for the job
- Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicle after servicing
- Supply costs of parts information on repair orders
- Notify service personnel when special parts or back order parts are received
- Ensure that parts/repairs are in line with the manufacturer’s requirements
Requirements
- Completion of secondary (12 years) technical education followed by recognized mechanical course mandatory
- 4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair work on mechanical assemblies and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- High level of communication skills using all methods e mail, phone etc.

Purpose
- To source and supply spare parts and source repair capability of local repair companies
Accountabilities
- Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories' needs are being met
- Assist technician’s orders for parts and source and supply as soon as possible
- Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for the job
- Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicle after servicing. This includes testing the operation of engine, gearbox steering, brakes, instruments etc.
- Supply costs of parts information on repair orders
- Notify service personnel when special parts or back order parts are received
- Ensure that parts/repairs are in line with the manufacturer’s requirements
Education & Experience
- Completion of secondary (12 years) technical education followed by recognized mechanical course mandatory
