About the Role

Responsibilities
- Ensure HSE Management System implementation and compliance with laws and regulations
- Develop personnel safety, transportation safety, and WMS procedures and guidelines
- Lead transportation safety management in adherence with HSE standards
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation measures
- Supervise team activities and manage budgets
- Prepare MIS and progress reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Personnel Safety, Environment, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in personnel safety, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- NEBOSH certification
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
- Ability to lead a team and manage resources
- Excellent report writing skills

Job Purpose
- Lead the personnel safety, transportation safety, and WMS activities through developing procedures, processes, and guidelines; conducting risk assessments; and communicating key highlights in line with the Company’s HSE policies and standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensures HSE Management System implementation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop personnel safety, transportation safety, and Work Management System (WMS) procedures, processes, and guidelines.
- Develop personnel safety and WMS KPIs in line with business objectives.
- Ensure regular awareness sessions to communicate key updates.
- Lead and liaise the HSE Systems and Procedures document control and management.
- Lead transportation safety management in adherence with HSE standards.
- Develop technical specifications for transportation and personnel safety and WMS.
- Lead Personnel Safety and WMS studies and assessments.
- Lead assessment of tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Lead evaluation of workplace conditions to identify potential personnel safety issues and risks.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Safety, Environment, or any equivalent disciplines.
- 10 years of experience in personnel safety, including at least 5 Years in a similar supervisory role.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and skills of best practices in the field of personnel safety.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
- Understanding of fitness to work, industrial hygiene survey and public health.
- Ability to effectively lead a team and manage resources.
- Ability to set priorities and give tasks, monitor and control performance.
- High level Communication skills with customers.
- Management skills related to the functional domain.
- Knowledge of industrial processes, equipment, and materials applicable to oil and gas industry.
- Excellent report writing skills.
