About the Role
Chanel is seeking a Tailoring Atelier Manager to oversee the fitting ceremony and atelier operations in Dubai. The role combines tailoring expertise with team management, ensuring perfect fit excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Conduct fittings with VIC clients and adapt to exceptional contexts
- Guide Fitting Tailors in development and coach during fitting ceremony
- Assess and validate adjustments ensuring fluid teamwork and high quality
- Support and develop tailoring team to achieve boutique and Atelier objectives
- Conduct mid year and annual development conversations and define training plans
- Pilot tailoring activities and monitor KPIs (volumes, quality, client experience)
- Manage Atelier agenda, supplies orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Proactively engage with CHANEL&moi teams locally and across Europe
Requirements
- Degree in sewing or alterations
- Proven experience in tailoring and team management, ideally in luxury environment
- Expert in tailoring with ability to pass on savoir faire
- Exemplary rigor, continuous pursuit of perfection, dedication to service
- Passionate about Fashion and Luxury
- Fluent in English; additional languages a strong advantage

Role Overview
- You report directly to the RTW Sales Manager or Operation Manager of the boutique, while maintaining a dotted line collaboration with the CHANEL&moi RTW & Ecole de la Retouche team in Paris.
- This dual reporting structure ensures seamless alignment between boutique objectives and technical excellence in alterations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fittings with VIC clients and adapt seamlessly to exceptional contexts.
- Guide Fitting Tailors in their development, coach them during the fitting ceremony and monitor tailoring steps.
- Assess and validate adjustments alongside Fitting Tailors and Tailors, ensuring fluid teamwork and upholding highest standards.
- Support and develop the tailoring team to achieve boutique and Atelier objectives.
- Conduct mid year and annual development conversations, define and monitor development and training plans.
- Pilot tailoring activities and monitor KPIs as volumes, quality, and client experience.
- Manage Atelier agenda, supplies orders, inventory, and maintenance of equipment.
- Proactively engage with CHANEL&moi teams locally and across Europe.
Qualifications
