Role Overview
The Tailor creates, alters, and fits garments and clinic uniforms for clients and staff.
The role is full time and based on site at the clinic in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Measure clients and adjust garments for comfort and fit.
- Complete alterations and maintain high-quality garment finishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with clinic staff on design and fit requirements.
- Handle rush and special requests.
- Maintain records for orders, measurements, and alterations.
Qualifications
- Strong tailoring and dressmaking skills are required.
- Strong fitting skills, including measuring, pinning, and adjusting garments, are required.
- Communication and customer-service skills are required.
- Candidates should be proficient with sewing machines, pressing equipment, and garment-finishing techniques.
- Previous tailor or dressmaker experience is highly beneficial.
- Candidates must be able to work on site in Dubai, manage multiple orders, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic record keeping and familiarity with clinical or customer-facing safety and hygiene standards are required or beneficial.
