Role Description

The Derma Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based at New Age Clinic in Sharjah.

The role supports dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners with clinical procedures, patient care, equipment handling, and clinic operations.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Assist dermatologists and aesthetic practitioners with clinical procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper use and maintenance of dermatology and laser equipment.
  • Conduct directed skin assessments, explain procedures, and obtain informed consent.
  • Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Perform or support treatments within scope of practice.
  • Monitor patients for treatment responses and side effects.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Clinic Operations

  • Adhere to infection-control, sterilization, and safety standards.
  • Manage consumables and inventory.
  • Coordinate appointments and patient flows.
  • Contribute to a welcoming and professional patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Valid nursing license or registration and completed nursing education, such as a diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, or cosmetic clinic settings.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, wound and skin care, injection support, and treatment-outcome monitoring.
  • Knowledge of infection control, sterilization procedures, and outpatient or clinic safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and empathetic care.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, follow clinical guidelines, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in accurate documentation, clinic management systems, scheduling, and patient-flow organization.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional relevant languages are advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, maintain professional conduct, and participate in ongoing training.
