Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of enterprise customer sales cycles from initial RFIs through RFPs and RFQs when required.
• Manage projects and participate in proofs of concept with internal teams, customers, and commercial partners.
• Understand customer requirements and build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and partners alongside the sales representative.
• Maintain knowledge of Fortinet products, solutions, and the competitive landscape.
• Position Fortinet solutions through remote or in-person presentations, whiteboarding, technical papers, plans, and customer discussions.
• Manage multiple deals while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Maintain customer and prospect technical information in Salesforce.

Candidate Profile

• Have a high aptitude for security technology, particularly encryption and authentication.
• Knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, antivirus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN is desirable.
• CISSP accreditation is beneficial.
• Have pre-sales engineering experience managing deals through technical closure.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and impact on key wins.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
• Understand RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
