Professional Services Consultant

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver customer projects involving deployment, configuration, knowledge transfer, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support rollouts, migrations, and go-live phases on site while minimizing risk and maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Analyze project risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Create accurate project documentation, including designs, migration plans, test plans, procedures, and as-built guides.
• Resolve complex technical issues with customers and internal Professional Services, Support, and Sales Engineering teams.
• Lead technical scoping meetings and develop statements of work with work breakdown structures.
• Review peer documents for technical accuracy and quality assurance.
• Maintain project administration and continue developing Fortinet technology expertise.
• Provide customer feedback, contribute to service improvements and reusable project collateral, and mentor other consultants.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration experience.
• At least 8 years of experience with network security products.
• Experience as an IT security consultant or architect.
• Expertise in at least five specified security and networking technology areas.
• Excellent presentation, communication, technical documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage changing priorities, and complete projects successfully.
• Positive customer service attitude, strong soft skills, self-direction, commitment, and team leadership ability.
