About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong experience in vulnerability management and patching for a banking client in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands-on expertise in Hybrid Exchange, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Windows Server, along with exposure to regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end vulnerability lifecycle using Qualys and Microsoft Defender
- Analyze findings across Domain Controllers, Exchange, Windows Servers, and Entra ID
- Prioritize remediation based on CVSS, exploitability, and business impact
- Ensure remediation within SLA timelines
- Provide risk acceptance and compensating controls
- Generate audit ready reports and dashboards
- Deploy Windows patches, Exchange SU/CU, and emergency updates
- Manage Entra ID and Azure AD Connect, monitor identity sync and authentication methods
- Manage hybrid mail flow and configuration for Exchange
- Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation for critical incidents
Requirements
- Hands on experience in Hybrid Exchange and Entra ID environment
- Strong experience in vulnerability management and patching
- Experience in large enterprise or banking environments
- Exposure to regulatory and audit frameworks
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Exchange (Hybrid), Entra ID, Windows Server
- Experience with vulnerability tools: Qualys, Defender
- Experience with patch tools: WSUS, SCCM, MECM, Intune
- Monitoring tools: SCOM, Azure Monitor
- PowerShell scripting and automation

Role Purpose
- Responsible for managing vulnerability remediation, patch deployment, and security hardening across Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange (on premises and hybrid), and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of identity and messaging platforms by implementing risk based patch governance, enforcing security baselines, addressing vulnerabilities in line with defined SLAs, and maintaining robust hybrid security controls.
